WEEK 15

You outlined a 10-slide pitch deck using evidence from across the course.

WEEK 16

Now you polish how it looks, and practice defending it live.

Visual design principles

Less text, more clarity

ONE IDEA PER SLIDE

If a slide has two headlines' worth of content, split it.

DATA OVER PARAGRAPHS

A simple chart beats three sentences of numbers.

CONSISTENCY

Same fonts, same colors, same layout logic across all 10 slides.

Hour 2 · Activity

Pitch Speed Dating

Goal: practice pitching to a new audience and handling real questions, multiple times.

  1. 01 Pair up with another team. Pitch for 3 minutes.
  2. 02 The listening team gives 2 minutes of specific feedback — and asks one tough question.
  3. 03 Switch roles, then rotate to a new pair.
  4. 04 After each round, note the toughest question you got — you'll need an answer for Demo Day.
